What we collect, what we don’t, and what happens to it.

What we collect

When you submit a conversation request through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you write. When you subscribe to our weekly note, we collect your email address.

We also use Vercel Analytics to measure aggregate traffic patterns: page views, referral sources, country-level location, and browser type. This data is collected without cookies and does not identify you individually.

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell your information, and we do not share your information with third parties except as described below.

How we use what we collect

The information you provide through our conversation form is used to respond to your request and, where appropriate, to refer you to Capital Wealth Advisors under the referral arrangement described on our disclosures page. Email addresses provided for subscription to our weekly note are used only to send that publication and any related transactional messages. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We use third-party service providers to operate this site: Vercel for hosting, Resend for transactional email delivery, Microsoft 365 for email, and, going forward, Brevo for newsletter delivery. These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not sell or rent your information to any third party for marketing purposes.

If you submit a conversation request and we refer you to Capital Wealth Advisors, the information you provided in that request may be shared with CWA for the purpose of facilitating the introduction. See our disclosures page for details on the referral arrangement.

How long we keep it

We retain contact form submissions and subscriber records for as long as the publication operates. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing us at editor@thehiddentax.com.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at editor@thehiddentax.com.

Children

This publication is intended for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
